Happy New Year 2015

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas.  We all went to where my sister Kristy lives with her family.  The car was so packed with presents and food there was barely room for us in the back seat.  But we made it without any problems..We had a great time..lots of food to eat, lots of things to do..I got to meet a BIG dog called Lola and another cat called Abbie.  She is just a kitten and didn't want to play with me..but I was able to sneak in a kiss or two when she wasn't looking. 

New Year's Eve was pretty quiet around here.  We didn't do much..but my cousin came over and watched the game with us for awhile then he went home.

Thanksgiving holiday

I had no clue what this would mean to me...but I sure know I enjoyed having 3 little girls to play with!! The youngest, Delaney, was always so much fun to play with..she was almost my size..well a little bigger but not much. I could push her down when she was sitting on the floor and then I could kiss her and kiss her..the more she'd giggle the more I'd kiss.  Now when I said I'd push her down I wouldn't really I'd put my paws on her chest and she'd fall back.  I had more people holding me this weekend..I loved it but got so tired.  I got so excited about all the people in my house I forgot to eat one morning and my blood sugar did a dip in the afternoon..I was shaking like I was very cold even though I was in the house and it was warm inside.  Mom gave me a little honey and then held me to make sure I ate.. I did and was fine then.  Here are some pictures Mom took of me, Delaney and Addie.

I love it when my sister Vicki comes to visit

I get so excited when my sister comes to visit me..we live in the same time but it seems like I never get to see her. 

She got down on the floor and played with me recently!! It was so much fun!! She'd hide her face and I'd try to dig my way in to find her.  As you will see I did get a few "licks" in!!

As you can see in the pictures I'm growing up.  I heard Mom say the other night I don't have a puppy body any longer..but a little dog body..well it's about time since on Nov 7th 2014 I'll be 8 months old.

Bath Time and Nap time

My brother, who in case you are just joining me is a cat, decided I needed a bath.  I don't mind baths except when hubby holds me down or tries to wash my feet.  I like it when he washes my face it's just so relaxing I could actually take a nap.

My brother who you all remember is a cat decided I needed a bath one day.  Mom got the camera out in time to catch him giving me a bath. At first I enjoyed it but then decided enough is enough and wanted to play. 

Surgery day Oct 21, 2014

I have heard Mom and Dad talk about "raging teenage hormones" but have NO clue what they are talking about..I must be a teenager..but really I'm almost 7 months..in my age.  BUT yep sometimes certain toys and bare feet or hands can feel soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good..but I seem to get spanked when that happens.

Mom talked to the Dr when my sissy cat had to go to the vet as she had been hurt by a stray cat..I heard them say something about "he could take care of the feelings".

The alarm went off and I'm up ready for breakfast!!! WAIT where is my breakfast...I know I'll just go eat brother's he shares all the time whether he wants to or not..BUT I can't find his either..water yes..but food NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Oh there is my kennel..we must be going someplace..wonder where we are going this time..

Oh it's the place where I get my shots..must be shot time..I give the receptionist her kiss..and then she takes me..where am I going Mom...MOM...why are you leaving??? Oh you'll be back...okay...see ya shortly.

Man do I feel funny!!! Kinda sleepy and WAIT!!! Something is missing..I think they took something from me!! Whew THAT part is still there...I checked!! BUT I'm sure sore down there..I know I'll cry..the pretty receptionist will come and get me...she'll hold me all afternoon if I want!! AND I DO!!! Why am I so sleepy???

Oh and there is Mom just like she promised..Mom I'm so glad to see you..they took something from me but right now I don't care..I'm just tired..let's go home..

Hey there is brother..but I think I'll just go to my kennel and sleep OH WAIT I smelled my FOOD heavenly FOOD!!! and there is brother's food too...think I'll try some of it too.  AAAWWW all is better in the world now..tubby is full..bladder is empty..kennel is calling.

Mom holds me off and on and now that Dad is home he'll cuddle me I know..man I'm still tired..just don't want to do anything but lay around and watch..Dad did you know they took something from me..see here is the surgery line!!

Mom and Dad keep telling me I'll feel better tomorrow..wonder if what they took from me will be back..I hope so..but I have a feeling it won't!! I have a feeling it's gone forever..wonder if the good feelings will be gone too????? Time will tell on that one I guess. Time to dream of what could have been!!

Alarm went off again this morning..I feel better more like myself...well sorta like myself...I think I'll be okay now..even without what ever they took from me.  Time to play!! See all of ya another day.

I think we are going on a vacation

I keep hearing Mom and Dad talking about something called packing!! Now I have no clue what that is but they are putting their clothes in a funny looking kennel.  I heard Mom call it a suitcase so I guess the clothes don't go in a kennel like I do..it doesn't look near as much fun as my kennel is.  They've added clothes to it and now it and a bunch of other things are sitting on the floor..I don't know why they are doing this..it's only Sunday Oct 13th so I guess we must not be going anywhere for a few days as my kennel, toys and bed are still in their normal place. 

Let me jump ahead now to Wednesday the 15th.  The alarm went off bright and early so today must be the day.  I think it is really early about 4:30 AM!! But I'm up cause I'm always up when the alarm goes off.  Have gone potty and have eaten my breakfast...OH.. OH.. OH. here comes my kennel on the table..Mom is putting some toys in the bed...OH WE MUST BE LEAVING!!!! Mom hurry put my kennel on the floor I want in NOW!!! PLEASE!!!! Okay Dad is going out the door with Mom's coffee cups and a bunch of other stuff.  AND NOW ME!! Here is my kennel ready for me to get in it..

WE are headed out the door to a place called Branson, MO.  I was told to go to sleep as it is a long drive..but I'm so excited I keep telling Mom I want out...please just let me out...now...please...out...out..out...Mom and Dad laugh and said that is what it sounds like I'm saying..well of course it is I want out of my kennel..gotta give them a kiss for not leaving me home. 

We stop a couple of times to go potty..and Mom and Dad eat lunch..and guess what Mom brings me out a little bit of meat and more important some ICE CREAM!!!!! All is well!! Time for a nap again..

We are finally there!!! I love our room it has wood floors like at home..so I don't smell all the other animals that have been here!! That is a good thing..I'm going to put a few pictures up of what I got to see at the motel we are staying at..

Mom said those are chickens on the fence!  The little one on the fence makes a funny noise..she said he's a rooster.

AND a Pot belly pig!! REALLY IN TOWN!!

WE did some fun things while we were in Branson..I got to go into two stores with Mom and Dad.  One really wants people to bring their pets into the store.  Mom and Dad got me a new harness that is so much better then the old ones..I can walk in it so much better and is so much easier to get on and off..and the best thing Dad didn't have to adjust it to fit me!!  There is a big empty lot behind a church that Mom takes me to and let's me play.  I really like that except one time I started to run down this hill toward a street.  Mom came running after me..I didn't know she could do that..she told me HERBIE STOP so I did and looked back at her as if I was saying well come on hurry up this is fun let's do it again!! BUT instead she picked me up and put the leash back on me..

All good things have to come to an end..and we head home after 5 days..I was worried about Dad when he got out of the car it's dark outside and you never know what might happen but he was putting gas in the car so I got up on the dash and laid down so I could make sure nothing happened to him.

 I realized in my posts there are pictures of everyone but my Mom so we decided to take a "selfie" I wasn't going to make it an easy job for her..she didn't have her camera but her phone instead.I'd give her a kiss and turn my face real quick..She has got to remember to shut her mouth when taking a selfie..but since this is the first one guess I can forgive her..and the fact it's blurry..

The trip home is long but going to be so worth it as I get to see my brother. We left at 5:45AM and got home at 3;30 PM..I was so happy to see my brother..Mom put me in the back yard to go potty..brother could hear me barking and he was meowing so Mom finally let me go inside. I ran to find him on the porch..we hugged and licked each other..5 days is a long time.
